Joshua Tree Natonal Park
Joshua Tree National Park is probably my favorite place in California.For me this place is a magical not only with its extraordinary landscape beauty,but also with its spirutual power.It is the only place on earth for me,where I can stay alone and enjoy its peaceful solitare. I love early mornings, when just before sunrise, golden light reflecting and painting rocks with this absolutely beautiful warm colors.Many peaople asking me, is this is the real color? You have to be there and see with your own eyes. I believe no camera can capture all those magical colors, as human eyes can see them.
"The name Joshua tree was given by a group of Mormon settlers who crossed the Mojave Desert in the mid-19th century. The tree's unique shape reminded them of a Biblical story in which Joshua reaches his hands up to the sky in prayer. Ranchers and miners who were contemporary with the Mormon immigrants also took advantage of the Joshua tree, using the trunks and branches as fencing and for fuel for ore-processing steam engines. It is also called Izote de desierto."
